Sagging skin of the neck can be treated in one of three ways: Liposuction only, Liposuction with neck suspension, and Liposuction with a Facelift (see Facelift). If your neck has significant fat but little sagginess, then Liposuction is all that you might need.
If your neck skin is also sagging but your face is not, then a neck suspension will help you. In a neck suspension the fat is liposuctioned and a permanent suture is placed beneath the skin from ear to ear. This suture holds the neck skin and muscles up. Since the scars are very short, neck suspension is particularly good for men for which the scars of a facelift would be too visible.
