Neck Lift (Lower Rhytidectomy)

If your neck skin is also sagging but your face is not, then a neck suspension will help you. During a neck lift, or lower rhytidectomy, the fat is liposuctioned and occasionally a permanent suture is placed beneath the skin from ear to ear if needed. This suture is used to hold the neck skin and muscles up and is only used when required to get the results desired. Since the scars are very short, neck lifts are particularly good for men for which the scars of a facelift would be too visible.
